August 30, 2006 Press Release of Robert Bisom

It is with great pleasure that I report that I have again prevailed over Nova, in Kyoto District Court, for the third time. Previously, I won two injunctions against Nova: one for unlawful forced transfer, the second for unlawful termination. I am grateful to my lawyers, and to those workers, (union and non-union), and those students of Nova who have supported me in my struggle. Earlier, Kara Harris and I reported her victory over Nova. She received approximately 6.93 million Yen from Nova. ((Please see "Kick Butt Announcement "(#1), available on the internet at certain chat sites)). Mr. David Dorman also reported about how Nova agreed to repay wages wrongfully deducted from him in incidents which are covered in "The Sydney Morning Herald" newspaper article entitled, "Hard Lessons in Broken English," dated the 15th of March, 2006. Also see David's internet posting. Additional lawsuits by other union and non-union workers are also currently proceeding against Nova. On May 13, 2006, "Criss-Cross News" (internet), reported that Nova's management admitted that it expected losses of approximately 3 billion Yen for the business year ending March 2006, because of overexpansion – (mismanagement decisions) - made by Nova's management. Appeals may be filed in my case. If they are, I will report the details of how much money Nova has wasted, (by having to pay me during the pendency of my lawsuit), at the conclusion of the Appeals. If no Appeals are filed, I will report this information by the end of September, 2006. In view of all of the above, I again say that not only does Nova abuse workers' rights, union rights, and human rights, but they also waste the money of Japanese customers. I think it is time for new management personnel at the top of Nova. "Goodbye Mr. Lundquist ('Director of Education'). Goodbye Mr. Saruhashi. (President)" Nova workers: If you have issues with Nova, and are possibly willing to DO something about them, (rather than just complain), please feel free to contact me, (Robert Bisom) , David Dormon, or Kara Harris. In or out of a union, we would like to help Nova workers. We may be able to help you! (No replies will be made to mere complaining).[1]
