It might be helpful for not only this school but for others to perhaps use the methods I did to obtain what they are legally entitled too: I've changed the personal names but feel free to use this template, I also wanted to add a HUGE thanks to those (wink-wink) who have helped me here!
1. Joined the Union 2. Union Sent documentation to the school. 3. School sat on it for more than a week but responded by "bad mouthing me" well of course we expected this, but having read others experience on ELT Websites at ACC this looks like something they have been doing for a long time. 4. I found a lot of bad references to the company from many teachers who were either lied to,etc.

If these links do not work in the future, feel free to PM me as I have saved them. I also wanted to mention that Gaijinpot deleted the thread too. We did not break any rules of their forums, BUT ACC pays to advertise with them, but I think FORUMS should be off limits, but Gaijinpot sucks like that, and they are notorious for this behavior. It is a shame, but I think with the growing popularity of Let's Japan and other forums, teachers can get REAL advice and use the bad and good experiences to make a decsion which is best for them. (Taking the job or Passing it up).
Had I have known for seen this at ESLcafe (which was not easily googled) I would have avoided them.
5. To get them off their lazy butt, I had to FAX them. Perhaps the embarrassment of me sending this to all the branches (which I worked out) actually provoked him to take this seriously.
The second fax was sent the day he was to deposit the funds. I sent it at 12pm to allow him enough time to post this at the bank. The Day before I sent The same fax, slight different in point 18 BOLD so there was no misunderstanding. I also used a service which allows to keep record and records the recieving fax numbers ID (so he could not say "I didn't receive it"! I played nice but in the end I had to be annoying to get was was fair.
FAX Part 2
TO: ACC English _____________ (ACC Eigo Gakuin) Mr.__________ Fax Number: ___________________ Date: 7/23/08 From: Number of pages including cover: 2 Regarding: Dismissal Letter and Dismissal Allowance & Friendly Reminder
Dear Mr. ______________ This is a friendly reminder to pay my dismissal allowance TODAY in the amount of ¥ to my bank account TODAY. Thursday, July 24th 2008. On June 30th 2008, I was terminated from my job at ACC English School five hours before my scheduled work day. To date, however, I have not been paid my dismissal allowance for July in wages due to me at the time of my termination per Japanese Labor Code Section 20-21.
In addition, I have not been explained, nor received a dismissal notice in writing therefore I have called several times to request my schedule so I may show up for school, my e-mails, phone calls have gone unanswered and I have been told my classes were covered and not to show up. By this letter, I hereby request that you immediately send me these unpaid wages via transfer to my bank account immediately. If all wages owed are not immediately paid in full, I will have no choice but to file a claim with the Labor Commissioner's office for the wages plus a waiting time penalty.
Releasing me requires notice of 30 days paid.
1. Said monies must be paid within seven (7) days of release, it is now more than 20 days past due! 2. If monies have not been deposited within this working day, a complaint will be filed with Labour Standards Law. I have given you many opportunities.
In addition you have caused me:
1.Emotional distress 2. Unfair humiliating dismissal compensation 3. All of the charges incurred by sending you letters and phone calls.
